Guide: How to enable debug mode
For some customization types such as Rename Payment methods, we surface a debug mode checkbox. Please do not enable this setting unless requested by our support team.
How to enable
- Once a customization is active, simply click Enable debug mode and save the customization. Make sure the customization status remains Active.
While in debug mode, the customization will no longer function but will surface important debug logs for our engineering team to use while helping debug your customization.
- After enabling, go to the View all link on the New customization page for the particular customization. It will take you to where Shopify keeps all the customizations within the admin.
- Look for Customization failed and click Share error report with developer. This will send the errors to our engineering team who will be able to assist:
